Ponder Point: Weathering the storms ...

Last night we had another storm come through which literally had such high winds it was blowing side ways. We got a lot of rain however since it was blowing sideways our rain gauge only showed a half inch. The wind was so strong that our bird feeders were literally suspended on their sides in the air (should have got a picture), the weighty metal deck chairs were all pushed over to the rail on the far side, the bird house didn't fly so well and was smashed to bits, the lattice roofing was drooping, and the heavy metal rain gauge was twisted sideways.
Makes me ponder the way our lives are impacted when the strong gails of life blow through in noted challenges. Where do we end up on the other side? Like the bird feeders - Hanging in place ready to feed the birds that come the morning after? Like the deck chairs - In a new position because we were not grounded firmly where we were? Like the bird house - smashed to pieces scattered across the ground (but still repairable!)? Like the lattice roofing broken and drooping? Like the rain gauge - still standing but slightly skewed with a different perspective?
Today I'm choosing Joy and to be like the bird feeders, standing the sideways hails of life and come morning, ready and in position to do my purpose. Some storm challenges are easier than others however I have the mindset that I AM an OVERcomer and a DOer.

Frozen water lines and life lessons

Life Lesson / Ponder point:

So as many are aware, our water froze up Sunday while we were gone to church and other meetings.  It has been a fun challenge of life without water but as always there is growth and victory.

Here's my insight challenge:

Our faucet was wrapped and insulated, electric water hose with heat strip, heater in the underneath storage compartment (we call basement) - everything set up for cold.  However, life throws curve balls.  Who knew that inside this faucet and piping were rusted, corroded areas that at the most inopportune time would release chunks of rust into the flowing stream of water.  As a protective and health mechanism we have a screen to filter before it enters the hose as well as two different filters on our RV for it to go through before we consume.  Sometimes protective measures that are not kept in check can collect the debris as intended but if not cleaned routinely  the screen fills up with the junk which diminishes pressure and water flow.  The restrictred flow builds up pressure at the filter screen which then applies excess back pressure bringing attention to the weakest part of the system which then does what any solid mass will do, explodes or splits or as some would say 'rips a new one'.  At this point what was to keep fluid flowing through the hose is being released everywhere but where its suppose to be going, thus causing shut down and blockage or in this case ice in the hose supply and a beautiful (if you're observing from a heated area) ice sculpture.  However this ice sculpture is not usable as a centerpiece (unless it's a plumbers convention at an ice rink).  It becomes yet another hinderance in being able to make needed repairs bringing more work, delay and time spent in obviously freezing cold temperatures.

This so resembles our life.  We have hurts and baggage from the past that has been buried and not dealt with.  We have protective mechanisms that we put up to protect ourselves.  However these protective mechanisms often times keeps God and the ability to heal out too.  Then at the most inopportune time, something breaks loose and totally causes us to pressurize and explode or "rip a new one".  This then brings even more damage requiring repair/healing.  The apparent outside damage can often distort and put the focus of need in the wrong areas neglecting the original root cause.  This in turn can bring delay that is misconstrued as inability to heal as you are going after the side effects and not the root.  Often times people get discouraged chasing the outside damage and give up before getting to the root cause and healing needed and give up, quit.  Falling into the lie that they are beyond help, they can't be healed, losing hope.  This is a lie of the enemy and not truth.

God has blessed me with loving me through past abuse and healing which has the victory in using the knowledge and experience gained to be able to walk through the valleys with others.  He has create me with a passion and love for others and has given me the desire to look beyond the outer appearance and go for the root cause to allow Him to work in and through me and our family to help others find their victory and freedom in Him.  To be a life line of hope.

I am so thankful for the insight, downloads, visions, knowledge, experience, tools and training He has given me, my family.  He never ceases to amaze me in what depths of darkness He can break through with using the Holy Spirit's guidance of His scripture promises, prayer and essential oils.  When He brings someone into my life to love and minister to in scripture, prayer and oils ... I never know what it's going to look like but I do know that when I say "Yes" to Him and follow His leading, victory is always there.  He is very creative.  In ministering to leadership He takes and heals the wounded but He also takes the healthy and makes them even stronger.  Not only does he bless and heal the hurting, I also receive His blessing in my obedience to His calling.

The end of 2015 and beginning of 2016 brought such a deep urgency and intensity to no longer be complacent and wait for others to come and ask.  2016 is a year to go forth boldly and help free others from past bondage so they can have more time of LIVING and more ability to GIVE to others.

What areas of your past is He asking you to lay down and break free from?  Our family is here to help you or connect you with others who can help you.  Stand on His promise to you that He has victory in every situation.  2016 is the time to stop being a VICTOM and start being the VICTOR.

Don't delay, plant your feet and go after your VICTORY.  If God lays it on your heart for us to help, then make the effort and reach out to us.  We are honored and blessed to help.

Here's to LIFE VICTORY in 2016!

Who or What's waiting on you?

Today I had the delight of seeing my husband unexpectedly drive up after he had left hours before for work.  I was immediately inspired to rush to the door and bend down ready to pucker and kiss him immediately when he opened the door to show him how much I love, treasure and delight in him.  Well, I stood at the door bent over and puckered watching for his shadow, listening for the truck door to open and close and my door to open ... and I waited.  I then stood up to save my back and de-puckered.  Figured I'd could take action as soon as I saw his shadow through the frosted window.  After a while thoughts of, maybe I should just go sit down, maybe he's just grabbing something from outside and not coming in, maybe I should text him and let him know I know he's here and take some of the surprise away, then finally to ... what if he doesn't come in and just leaves and misses out completely never knowing I was standing at the door just waiting for him to open the door.  Then I totally glimpsed that THIS is how God is with us WITHOUT the thoughts of maybe I should, what if ... He unfailingly waits ever patiently at the door puckered and ready to kiss us with blessings as soon as we open the door and allow Him too.  He doesn't even think about sitting down or going out to meet us ... He just lovingly, patiently waits for us even when we don't come to the door and just drive off going our own way ... He still waits for us.

Makes me ponder how many blessings and kisses I have missed out on because I didn't respond to the prompting of my heart / spirit (God's messaging system).  Thankfully I have been and am more purposeful on following and acting on the promptings from within.  So here's to 2016 and being even more aware and receiving even more of God's kisses and blessings that He is patiently waiting to shower on me.

Oh and for the record ... I chose to stay by the door until I either heard him drive off or he opened the door.  I myself and my husband were rewarded (at least from my perspective it was a reward! LOL) with a kiss from me before his feet ever left the ground to enter into our home.  So thankful that I got to sow appreciation into him and his day.  Praising that he did come in to our home instead of just driving away.

Love your neighbor as you love yourself ... So, How's that working for you?

Love your neighbor as you love yourself ... So, how's that working for you?  You fulfilled and living in your best? Neighbors fulfilled and living their best?

In the past I have tried to fill the expectations of others to gain the desired acceptance and love of ones that didn't have the concept or ability of empowering or loving others to their best.  Hindsight (and now a heart passion of mine) of firsthand experience of deeper understanding of the Biblical teaching of Matthew 22:38:

YLT translation:  and the second [is] like to it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself;

AMP translation:  The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself [that is, unselfishly seek the best or higher good for others].’

NKJV translation:
And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’

I'm great at loving my neighbor ... just in the past have sucked (excuse the brashness of the word but it pretty much sums up how I totally missed this) at loving self.  The amplified translation really drove it home for me with the added "unselfishly seek the best or higher good for others" as you do for yourself.  Hmmm ... I am a motivator, encourager and empowerer for others but imagine what God can do through my life if I do as He mandates in His word and do it for myself first.  Then and only then will I have the best understanding of to do it for best others.  As I ponder that I come to understand and link it to my message to my family that sometimes what you think is best and want to do is not what is best for the other person and doing it can actually weigh them down, hold them back, cause more burden/delay.  So what I'm getting is that, in my loving myself I go after seeking His best for myself in all areas of my life (heart, soul, mind, and strength/body) and from what/how I learn and grow in doing such, I am able to love and feed others from.

I am so kicking the twisted mindset I have been fed and received to "sacrifice loving self (for the good of others)" and just jump to "loving others" omitting the "as yourslef" and making a stance to taking a step in faith and walk into better awareness and understanding of "loving self" so I can love others even more fully into their best that they were created for.

Now to get my mini steps in place to make sure it happens in monumental upward progress of success.

Please share steps you take to love yourself so you can love others better.  I would appreciate insight of those who have gone before me on this path.  Post in comments or email me if it's to personal to share here.  Thanks in advance!

Happy New Insight to Loving yourself Blessings!

My personal Garden of Eden

What an amazing gift! Last Thursday our team had a Menos Oil Ministry event to bless our team members and fill them up to be able to go forth and bless others.
I was so blessed besides all of the wonderful things I received from each of the oils during my ministry time one of our amazing team members was looking at the labels on the oil bottles that were selected for my “Garden of Eden” and based on the oil names and order they were administered in she saw this word for me,
“Because of your prayers, I will give you a mighty purpose, a Gift to magnify it. I promise you this.”
With all that transpired during my time in my “Garden of Eden” I so receive the above word. It is so right on!
Here’s my special “Garden of Eden” at Thursday’s Menos:  Magnify Your Purpose, Frereana Frankincense, Magnify Your Purpose, The Gift, R.C., Ylang Ylang.
Thank you Roxanne for being open to see and discern. Thank you Kathleen for facilitating for my garden. Thank you Father God for loving me so much to create such an amazing “Garden of Eden” for me and bringing me to new levels of body, mind and spirit health and wholeness with your amazing oils! I am SOOOO BLESSED!!!
